I was also deeply impacted when I took the strengths finder assessment a long while back, also in my 20's. My top strength was visionary, which felt like validation from repeated experience with bosses telling me I'm too optimistic 😂
I don't think I took that test but whenever I took the career aptitude test, I got social worker. Pretty accurate!
I've partaken in community talks. It was always full of just complaining and not really much problem solving... Wish there were facilitators that could prompt the discussion to more informed and practical directions.
Oh yeah, I remember that test in high school - I got pastor. I was pretty shocked. But also, kinda fits.
I joined a Community Solutions Forum for the Central District of Seattle - same experience as you- lots of identifying problems, not much time on solutions. I felt like if we spent the time just getting to know each other, we probably would have caused more positive change through natural interactions than making lists...
I just took a strengths test now - got "relationship-building". Goes to show how much Village has integrated itself into my psyche...because I don't necessarily think of myself as a relationship-builder. Though I think in Village, we all are!

Haha, pastor is where you seem to be heading these days, Jason! Totally see you being that now too, Loisel.
I think my high school aptitude test came back as inconclusive....haha
